Quincy School Committee
Policy Subcommittee Meeting
Wednesday, January 18, 2017
A meeting of the Policy Subcommittee was held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 5:15 pm in the
Coddington Building. Present were Mrs. Kathryn Hubley, Ms. Barbara Isola, Mrs. Emily Lebo, and Mr.
Paul Bregoli, Chair. Also attending were Superintendent DeCristofaro, Deputy Superintendent Kevin
Mulvey, Mrs. Maura Papile, Mr. Kevin Segalla; and Ms. Laura Owens, Clerk.
Mr. Bregoli called the Policy Subcommittee meeting to order at 5:15 pm.
A draft of School Committee meeting dates for 2017-2018 was presented. Mr. Bregoli suggested
moving the Organizational meeting to September 6, 2017 to precede the first meeting of the year.
Mrs. Hubley requested a fall meeting be held at Point Webster Middle School in honor of the
building’s 100th anniversary
Ms. Isola made a motion to accept the 2017-2018 School Committee Meeting calendar as amended.
Mrs. Hubley seconded the motion and on a voice vote, the ayes have it.
A draft of the School Year Calendar for 2017-2018 was shared.
Ms. Isola made a motion to accept the School Year Calendar for 2017-2018 as presented. Mrs. Hubley
seconded the vote and on a voice vote, the ayes have it.
Both calendars will appear on the January 25, 2017 School Committee meeting for discussion and be
eligible for a vote on February 8, 2017.
Ms. Isola made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:20 pm. Mrs. Hubley seconded the motion and
on a voice vote, the ayes have it.
