A Message from Superintendent Kevin W. Mulvey, J.D.
Quincy Public Schools has a long-standing tradition of offering the highest-quality educational experiences and supports to our students and their families. From the youngest students in Pre-Kindergarten to high school students being prepared for college and career readiness, our students grow and achieve through a wide array of educational opportunities. Quincy Public Schools is a learning community that functions through communication and meaningfully focused collaboration to create an effective, safe, and nurturing learning environment for all students.
The Superintendent's Annual Goals for Quincy Public Schools are reviewed and approved by the School Committee. These goals are the framework for the School Improvement Plans created by the staff of each school and the Program Improvement Plans for the district-wide English Learner, Special Education, Literacy, Student Support, Health Services, Technology, Early Childhood, and Career Vocational & Technical Education programs. All of our plans identify opportunities to make each student's learning experience as rich and rewarding as possible.
Success is evaluated by the completion or reassessment of these goals in the Superintendent's Evaluation, which in turn facilitates the ongoing process for improvement in our school system. Ultimately, our success is measured by the exceptional educational opportunities available to all of our students and their development into productive citizens who are invested the greater community.
