Dear Quincy Public Schools Parents & Guardians:
Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card
from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary
Education (DESE). Links to the Quincy Public Schools report cards are available on the
Quincy Public Schools website:
https://www.quincypublicschools.com/cms/one.aspx?portalId=22782402&pageId=23546052
The report cards include multiple measures of each school’s performance and are designed
to be useful tools for everyone connected to our schools. Families can use the information
to have conversations with school administrators about what the schools are doing well
and where there is room for improvement. Community and education leaders can use the
information to better understand how to support our schools. Parents and guardians are
critical partners in the success of our students and schools, and we encourage you to
become involved with your student(s) schools.
If you have questions about a school’s report card or would like to become involved in
school improvement activities, please contact your school principal.
Sincerely,
Kevin W. Mulvey, J.D.
Superintendent of Schools
