QNQ Jazz Ensemble Places 2nd at MAJE Competition

On Thursday night, the QNQ Jazz Ensemble earned a silver medal rating at the MAJE Massachusetts Jazz Educators Association Competition held at Oliver Ames High School.

Outstanding musicianship awards were given to QHS sophomore Nathan Aronoff (tenor sax), QHS sophomore Avyanna Garcia-Pizarro (vocalist), and NQHS sophomore Johnny Chen (clarinet/tenor sax).

The group has another festival this upcoming Thursday at Reading High School. Good luck, QNQ Jazz!
