This morning, we welcomed members of the Class of 2025 from both North Quincy High and Quincy High to Granite Links for the annual QPS Leadership Summit. This event was made possible by the generous sponsorship of Colonial Federal Savings Bank, and we were pleased to welcome the President and CEO of Colonial Federal, Mr. Michael McFarland, as the event's keynote speaker.
During breakfast, our students heard remarks from Assistant Superintendent Dr. Erin Perkins, School Committee Vice Chair Ms. Tina Cahill, Superintendent Kevin Mulvey, and Mr. McFarland, who shared his thoughts on effective leadership techniques.
Following breakfast, students were divided into groups and rotated through three workshops focusing on key aspects of leadership development.
We thank our coaches, Iain Martin, Randy Nathan, and Dave Allen from Positive Coaching Alliance, for leading the day’s workshops.
