Nothing says new school year like a new backpack and fresh school supplies!
On Thursday, September 7, thanks to our friends and partners at Cradles to Crayons, Granite Telecommunications, Mass Bay Credit Union, and Quincy Credit Union, students at Atherton Hough, Clifford Marshall, Lincoln Hancock, Montclair, Parker, and Snug Harbor received the supplies they need to succeed for the 2023-2024 school year. Every student in each of these schools was provided with a new backpack and school supplies for use in the year ahead.
The distribution of these supplies has become an annual tradition through the Quincy School-Community Partnership (QSCP). The mission of the QSCP is to support the academic, social, and vocational successes of Quincy Public Schools students through direct exposure to and mentorship from local businesses and community partners. The Partnership supports the development of students to become productive citizens and involved community members. Learn more about the QSCP at https://qscp.org/.
We also thank esteemed members of the Quincy School Committee as well as our school administrators and educators for assisting with distribution!
